Welcome to the website of First Presbyterian Church, Islandmagee. We are a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church In Ireland. Situated south of Larne on the peninsula of Islandmagee, we seek to provide meaningful worship of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit; authentic fellowship for our members and our community, and effective witness for God's kingdom in this place.

The site is designed to inform our members, our community, new residents who may be seeking a church and others of what we do to achieve those things that we are seeking to provide. The calendar page provides further information of the church's programmes and activities.

We extend an open invitation to any to join us on Sundays and at other times or to contact us for further information. Our morning worship is held on Sundays at 11.30am. Except for July and August, we hold an evening service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month in the local Community Hall.

God says

'I live in the high and holy places, but also with the low-spirited, the spirit crushed, and what I do is put new spirit in them, get them up and on their feet again' Isaiah 57:15 (NIV)

First Presbyterian Church, Islandmagee believes it is our calling to welcome you just as Christ has welcomed us. We are here to worship God as He is revealed in Jesus. Jesus Christ saved us by a reversal of values. He put himself where you deserved to be so that we can sit at his table where He deserved to be.

This grace calls for our gratitude expressed through worship, fellowship and witness. If you are weary, we pray this will be a place of refreshment. If you are lost, we pray this will be a place of direction. If you are discouraged or afraid, we pray this will be a place of sanctuary to you.
