Rev. Eric Sarwar, Director of the Tehillim School Of Church Music & Worship and who, with his wife Shumaila, recently visited PCI for six weeks (in March and April), was attacked at gunpoint in Karachi last night (30th June) in what appears to be an attempted kidnapping by an unknown group.  Thankfully, he managed to resist them and the attempt failed.  He is now in hospital receiving treatment for the injuries that he received in the attack.

Prayer Points –

· For Eric and all his family as he begins to process what he has just gone through, that he would make a swift recovery and know God’s guidance in his work.

· Pray for protection for his entire family in fear of further attacks.

· For his attackers that they would know the peace and truth that Christ brings.

· For the church in Pakistan as it continues to grow and minister in volatile and often highly dangerous conditions.
